How many times have I heard my grandmother say that?
Countless, seriously, countless times! My grandfather would say, "She takes longer to get ready than anyone I know!"
My mother wondered aloud to me... Is Grandpa saying that in the heavens now?
I guess she is still not good and ready...
When I spoke with my father this afternoon, he said that she is having periods of apnea for close to a minute at a time now. She looks very weak. And, that certainly makes sense!
Two weeks without food is such a long time for anyone... but for an older person, who was already weak with age and pneumonia... She has had small periods of intravenous hydration. So, yes, she is weak.
Heaven awaits her...
Is today her day?
